About the Author
James Pallister is a journalist and publisher with interests in, amongst other things, architecture, design, technology and publishing. He worked at the Architects’ Journal, where he was variously AJ Publications Editor, Senior Editor and Feature Writer. He has written for titles including Creative Review, Eye, Grafik, Computer Arts and The Independent and has lectured and taught at the Illustrative festival in Berlin, at the Architectural Association, London South Bank University and at the University of Sheffield. Gongs and awards include 2 x BSME Awards shortlisting, the 2013 LSL Architectural Writer of the Year Award and, a long time ago, a Guardian Student Media Award.

Known and Unknown Spaces

Nice layout, beautiful photos and there are even plans / sections of the different churches .. a positive addition that many books fail to include. There are a few known buildings by Shigeru Ban, Peter Zumthor and John Pawson ... but most are obscure that one has never heard of. I guess that will be good for some readers and disappointing to others.
