Focuses more on the games than the comic books

I was hoping this was more for the entire Batman Universe rather than just the universe within the game. I'm marrying into a family of Batman lovers so I was hoping that it might give me a leg up on the stories. It's full of great illustrations, but I'm playing the games. They aren't really giving me a leg up on anything, and if you haven't played through Arkham City then don't look through it. There are quite a few spoilers.
